About me

I am Josephine Taraschkewitz, an Independent Art Curator from Berlin.

I conceive exhibitions, mediate and network artists, write and publish texts about their work and help artists to achieve sustainable visibility. At the same time I help people through personality coaching to self-development and unfolding.

Since my childhood I am connected to the Visual Arts, especially to Photography and Performative Arts. For many years I danced classic Ballett and I am especially intrigued by music in its various forms.

I studied Art History in Bachelor Degree at the Technische Universität Berlin that is close to the Universität der Künste. During my Bachelor Studies I did an exchange year abroad at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 2013. In the period from 2016 – 2019 I studied my Masters Degree Art History in a Global Context at the Freie Universität.

In 2018 I participated in the Sawa Museums Academy. This is a cooperation of the Goethe Institut, the HTW, the German State Museums and Sharjah Museums Authority. Together with international colleagues we discussed, researched and published about museum work in international and interdisciplinary contexts.

I help artists to achieve lasting visibility, exhibit their works and sell their artworks if wanted. I collaborated with artists, institutions and art associations and therefore have a very good and unique network. I collaborated with artists from different disciplines, exhibited my own photographs and did research and practice projects on dance.
